Compare Method

Compares two objects and returns a value indicating if one is greater than, less than or equal to the other.

Parameters

x

The first object to compare

y

The second object to compare

Return Value

0 if the objects are equal. -1 if the first is less than the second. Otherwise 1 to indicate the second is less than the first.
